DOLE launches job fair on Labor Day with The OPF

May 1, 2010– The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) kicked off their annual job fair, JOBS LIVE!, on Labor Day, baring more than 100,000 job opportunities at the SMX Convention Center. As one of this year’s sponsors, The Outlooke Pointe Foundation (OPF) teamed up with DOLE’s Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) in a photo exhibit aimed at strengthening the image of greatness in the Filipino worker.\r\n\r\nRunning throughout the entire lobby of the SMX were 15 photos (chosen by the ILS), from the Shoot to Move the Nation: Dignity of the Filipino Worker coffee table book launched by The OPF last December 2009. DOLE’s ILS and Information and Publication Service (IPS) also displayed 15 photos from their own collection.
