Influencer photo shoots, pop-up events, brand promotions etc. For some, these are just all in a day’s work. There is no talk here on upsetting traditional boundaries between commercial and non-commercial art. Perhaps art doesn’t need any more groundbreaking discoveries.
In the world of Kolown, insights and everything needed to experience art can be found in the art itself—mined painstakingly from the Web, braving through trolls and the excess of the “online” to narrow down and filter into its purest form. The pieces may not evoke web-savviness and might not even be effective for all viewers, but this is for content only.
When all things have settled down, it is good practice to evaluate and reassess establishments without worry or fear. Here are works on a human scale, where personal effects, things given by your loved ones, fragments of childhood memories– are all kept safe.
