Joshua Alexander “Joey” Manalo currently divides his time between family, managing OPF’s projects and collection, as well as playing the piano. As a pianist, Joey started playing the piano at the age of six, under the tutorial of close family friends. Mostly self-taught, Joey navigated through scores and pieces on his own, eventually taking a Minor in Music while studying Psychology at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, graduating cum laude in 2009. He then had his orchestral debut on February 2011 in Insular Life Auditorium Philippines under the baton of American conductor Marlon Daniel. In 2013 he completed his Masters in Global Entertainment and Music Business at The Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus. Joey has performed in many notable master classes and venues such as Cultural Center of the Philippines, Philam Life Theater, Fondation Bell’Arte Paris, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Wiener Musikseminar in Austria.
