To Transfigure
A Benilde Fine Arts Program Exhibition

Works from this exhibition are from faculty members and students of Benilde Fine Arts in Culture-Based Arts, a recently-minted undergraduate program which emerged from the defunct Design Foundation area, a service department providing foundational courses on art history, theory, and production.
The title ‘To Transfigure’ is perceived as interconnecting with a process, a movement, or a remaking pointing to a desired change and betterment. ‘to transfigure’, in this exhibition, is also juxtaposed with an artist’s desire to constantly develop their practice and process. Through this initiative, the program intends to be at the forefront of mentoring future creative and artistic individuals championing nation building through Philippine art, culture, and creativity, as echoed in co-presenter Outlooke Pointe Foundation’s commitment to creative collaborations.
